After completing his Degree in Medicine at the University of Turin in 2004, he was selected for and completed the Orthopedic and traumatology residency program at the University of Turin.

Scientific research

As clinician and surgeon, he has been working in national and international centers, being involved in scientific research and presenting his work in national and international congresses.

Publications

Once Dr. Caranzano completed his residency, he became a consultant at Mauriziano Umberto I Hospital. He is actively involved in clinical assistance of patients affected by shoulder, elbow and knee disorders.

Activities

Since 2008, he collaborates as an orthopedic and traumatology surgeon with Italian Motorbike Federation. As a clinician, he was in charge of the National team during the Internation Six Days of Enduro (2013 and 2015). He is involved in diagnosis and treatment of pilots, gaining a lot of experience on pre and post injury management of athletes at any level.
